Role Overview:
We are looking for analysts with a strong operations research background who can translate complex routing and scheduling challenges into rigorous mathematical models. The role requires comfort with large datasets and the application of advanced optimization techniques to deliver impactful, real-world solutions.
An ideal candidate would possess 2 to 4 years of practical experience in applying operations research to routing and scheduling problems.
Additionally, we are seeking individuals with a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated proficiency in integer and mixed-integer linear programming.
- Formulation and construction of mathematical models for various transportation and logistics applications.
- Familiarity with prominent heuristic and metaheuristic approaches employed in routing and scheduling problems.
- Offering valuable recommendations and insights based on model outcomes, effectively communicating them with the stakeholders.
- Creation, validation, and integration of diverse optimization modules pertaining to logistics and transportation.
- Expertise in utilizing linear programming solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Xpress, SCIP.
- Proficiency in working with Google OR Tools and other open-source optimization modules.
- Programming competence in languages like Python, C#, or C++.
- Adeptness in comprehending business requirements and translating them into solvable technical problems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience in Operations Research, or a Master’s/Ph.D. in Operations Research or a related field (Statistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of operations research concepts and heuristics preferably in vehicle routing problems, network design problem, and scheduling problems
